Well, here we are! Oh, the Humanity! has made the big move to our own domain.  Even if you're a frequent viewer (I'm pretty sure that means you're one of our parents) you'll notice a lot of changes.  We've updated numerous design elements, made the site more friendly to different browsers and low resolutions, and added some new graphics to spice things up (what is this, Emeril Live?).

One of the most noticeable additions is the advertising.  We've become a proud affiliate of the Imagine Media Network, and we're honored to be in such exclusive company.  The advertising revenue we receive from them will help us pay for server fees,  keep this site free (oh, the laughs we had over the idea of someone paying to see our junky site), and most importantly, let us buy Good and Plenty's by the two-pack.  

We're excited about the big move and we've re-dedicated ourselves to producing even more content than before.  We've gone over to a database, so content updates should be easier, quicker and more often.  We're going to do everything in our power to update once a week. New content will be added (usually) on Sunday nights. That way all you Monday morning warriors will have something to chat over at the water cooler besides how much Dilbert is like your life. But you don't have to wait until Monday to get something new! Here's just some of the things we've added for the re-opening:

• 6 new reviews
• Internet Movie Database and Reel.com links for every review
• New "pick" image for reviews which received an 8 or greater in its overall rating
• Finally! All of our B-Fest memoirs are up and ready for your perusal!
• Complete update of the Mail Bag with new mail we've received and our responses
• Many new sections, including:
• A debate section where we toss around controversial and amusing subjects ripped from the banners of today's (and yesterday's) bad movies.
• A student films section, where we review and promote any awful student films you directed, wrote, or starred in (surely not the correct term). If you've got a film for us, email Rob at rob@ohthehumanity.com and we'll work something out.
• The complete approach to living bad movies -- the lifestyle, the music, the miscellaneous foodstuffs!
• A contest (come on down!) where you can win fabulous (fabulous = crappy) prizes.
• A movie pick of the week, tied in to our genre of the month (boy, that sounds stupid, doesn't it?)
• And many more...
• Small updates to the Awards and IFAQ sections

But that's not all.  In the next few months we'll be adding a lot more sections from some ideas we've been kicking around.  Ideas we're working on:

• A beginner's section for the bad movie newbie.  Might include a how-to guide on how to make jokes for the novice.
• An interview or two if we find somebody who hasn't already blocked us on their CallerID.
• Merchandising!  Oh the Humanity! t-shirts, mousepads, commemorative plates, paper toilet seat protectors, anything we can  find for sale!  If you know of a good service on the net that will handle this for us, send an email to merchandise@ohthehumanity.com
• Installments of the movie script Rob and Alan wrote many and odd semester ago -- "Venusian Vampire Vixens From Venus Will Eat Your Soul!". No kidding! Only then will you truly discover the depths of our dedication to uselessness!
