Saving grace of this movie was Cameron Diaz. Otherwise, what in the hell was all of the hype about?? The Julia Roberts publicity-machine must of saw it coming twenty miles down the road, so they really pushed this movie beyond where it needed to be --the trash can. The premise could have been amusing (ex-girlfriend tries to prevent ex-boyfriend from getting married because she's still got a "thing" for him). Julia Roberts didn't gain any sympathy from me or any of the women that I knew. If we were Cameron Diaz' character, we woulda knocked out a couple of Julia Roberts teeth --she can spare 'em. JR's character was obtrusive, needy and --oh, did I get into the the "glam" job thing that JR had. AS IF! Okay, in somebody's world this movie made sense. But in mine, it was another moist stank-pile addition. About the author: SF/Bay Area free-lance writer. "If it's ground-breaking news, I probably haven't heard it yet."
