Sportin' black hair and a Texas accent (showing he's hundreds of miles away from Dawson's troubles in Capetown), Jonathan Moxon (James Van Der Beek) is a second-string quarterback who's thrust into the mainstream when an injury sidelines the team's star player. But this headstrong hottie's take-or-leave-it attitude doesn't exactly mesh with his coach (Jon Voight), who wants his new quarterback to follow some very strict playing rules.
