 CindyBob, dearest, CindyBob, Nah, I didn't run. I just got tied up in my own cinematic thang. Caught up on loads of flicks, studied the 'art' of criticism (ha!), saw some new releases and watched some very bad sinema. And I ran, I ran so far away. Like a Flock of Seagulls. So where did we leave off exactly? Something about westerns, perhaps? If not that's okay. Anyway, my favorites were "True Grit" with the Duke himself. And, Sam Peckinpah's great "The Wild Bunch" which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with a revival at the Music Box Theater in Chicago, IL. Can't wait to relive the magic. Did we ever discuss the best cinematic kiss? Well, my fave's the Charlton Heston/Kim Hunter kiss at the end of "Planet of the Apes" - strange yet filled with eros. Odd.
