 I have to agree with Jake 'n' Elwood... FOOTLOOSE was a great flick. I saw it in the 7th grade--my sister and I walked to the mall and danced in the streets the whole way home. I own the soundtrack on CD, and love the music still. .....But Kevin Bacon....huh. He was great in his bit part in JFK, and funny in the first instalment of FRIDAY THE 13TH. But...um...that's about it. I pulled him up in the IMDb and saw that he has been in more movies than God, hence the game dedicated to him, but does that mean he's any good? Everyone says he was "Soooo wonderful" in MURDER IN THE FIRST, but I found Christian Slater much more enjoyable in that movie. I thought he was the only bad thing to happen in APOLLO 13--a big floating turd in an otherwise talented cast. As you can see, to those who actually read my reviews, (ha ha) I'm cranky today. I've just slammed Austin Powers, and now I'm slamming Kevin Bacon. I call 'em as I see 'em, and hey---I'm outta smokes right now so cut me some slack! If the world can cut Bacon some slack and embrace him in his movies, do the same for me non-existant readers!!!
