I haven't seen a horror movie this well-made, well thought out, and entertaining in a long, long time. The characters in this film interact well with one another and the actors have good chemistry. Thomas Ian Griffeth makes the ideal vampire. Sure, the movie wasn't all that scary, but what horror movie is? Face it, if you've seen one, you've seen every one. I also found it quite interesting to think that the Catholic Church would fund vampire hunters because, accidentally, the Church created vampires in the first place. Well done movie, very well done, very entertaining. By all rights, this should have blown Blade (the other vampire movie released at about the same time) right out of the box office. Blade wasn't half the vampire movie this was. About the author: whamontree@hotmail.com; www.angelfire.com/tn/potpourri You may read another review, submit your own, or return home. |
