 Personally I have nothing against porn movies, but when a porn movie tries to be an important, artistic film, I can't stand it. A blue movie is a blue movie, even if it's featured as a drama in ordinary theatres. This dog is a little seen Spanish movie based on an awful novel (very successful in Spain), starring an Italian babe called Francesca Neri and Javier Bardem ("Romeo" in Perdita Durango), and it has no plot at all, but it is supposed to be the dramatic story of a woman who loses her innocence for love and is raped by her own brother, before making her sexual fantasies come alive in a world of gay/sado-maso relationships (or something like that). Unvelievably, this movie has lots of fans and is usually highly rated. I suppose that fans are only interested in the masturbation value of the film. Otherwise it would be like saying that "Emmanuelle" is better than "Citizen Kane". Trivia: One of the main characters is a transexual played by... a woman. Things to watch for: Francesca's body, Ely (the transexual)'s penis, which almost looks like a carrot. Original title: Las Edades de Lulú.
