 I have a real problem with THE MOVIE, do you want to know why? Because it is a hacked up version of a very good miniseries, thats why!! Who was the genius who decided "Hey, let's take one of the best adapatations of a Stephen King novel ever, slice it up until it doesn't make any sense, change the ending while we're at it, and release it to unsuspecting video renters everywhere!" Do we see IT:THE MOVIE, or The Stand:THE MOVIE? NO, I don't think so! Unfortunately, a lot of video stores don't carrie the entire mini-series. I lucked out and taped the entire 4 hour version off of the TNT network. If you have to watch it, watch the whole thing, or buy it, it's worth the extra money!! Don't waste your time on THE MOVIE that has 71 minutes of footage cut out, for crying out loud!!
