Review:
Escape from L.A....Escape From L.A., now where have i heard this premise, with the exact same plot before...Oh yeah, when they made Escape From New York! See the lowdown on this hoedown of a movie is that Snake Plissken(Kurt Russell) is back in custody of the U.S., and he's being sent into L.A., which has been turned into a mass prison facility(big surprise) to find the President's defect of a daughter. It has a reference to a Cuban nationalist in the form of the main bad guy, I know it's odd to just throw that in, but there's really no other place for it. Now the only reason this remarkable piece of crap got one star from me is cause of Mr. Steve Buscemi, who plays Eddie, seller of digital star maps. So all in all I left the movie theater a couple years ago after i saw this stinker, and lets just say I didn't go to blockbuster's to rent another Kurt Russell masterpiece for quite a while. Unless of course it was Tequila Sunrise, which was more like a Mel GIbson masterpiece.
