 Like something you'd groan thru in a suspect screening booth at some unknown SF convention; at least The Trek People would like it (see cast for details). Someone must have thought that doing that "self-aware" Scream thing for '50s Bug-Movies (instead of '80s slasher flicks) would be "funny". Not Quite. Randy Quaid's particularly difficult to stomach - but, every movie needs a "name" - besides, he was SO GOOD in... uhhh, nothing comes to mind; I'll get back to you on that one. Let's call the thing Bug Buster in the hope that some dupe thinks it has some kind of connection with the (unspeakable) Ghost Busters franchise. Anyway, it LOOKS good enough - great armpits in the shower scene, icky toilet sequence & a sensationalized female reporter (for FU2 News - geddit??) who sounds as if lifted from an update of a dumbed-down money-worship show: Lifestyles Of The Sick And Tasteless? James Doohan's "performance" is... well, get the damn thing and find out for yourself. NOTE: As for comparing THIS (as the video slick does) to the supreme Starship Troopers - pphhhhhttttt!!!
