Frankenheimer's entry into the "Nature Takes Revenge" string of films . . . basically, the use of mercury in drying logged wood in northern Maine has mutated EVERYTHING - fish, raccoons, and, of course, bears (large, crazy, and one-eyed, respectively). Be sure to enjoy the moments of: "Hey, what's that dog doing up there?"; the incredible flaming raccoon; and a single arrow as a defensive weapon. Littered with several social "messages", about as highbrow and serious as a box of twinkies. BUT, you'll laugh yourself to tears. :) You may read another review, submit your own, or return home. |
