Godzilla vs. Megalon Rob Godzilla's back and fighting an evil menace so terrifying he needs help from the robotic Jet Jaguar and a disturbing little boy. No Here's another movie they did on MST3K which I saw way before I knew they had. Boy, does it ever deserve their treatment. It's your typical Godzilla movie with him fighting a big alien looking thingy over, through, and nearby the streets of Tokyo. He's aided this time be an android which can grow to about his height and is controlled by these two guys wearing London Fog jackets and jogging suits through a necklace worthy of some Japanese Mr. T. There is also a little kid who is exactly like every other little in every other big monster movie. His voice is screachingly annoying yet the two guys with the robot listen to his every word and command his every wish. You have to wonder is those kids in these movies that the government and monsters always listen to have some kind of screechy power which makes you obey. It's just a though, but I always wondered. The best part of this movie is the end, with this big Jet Jaguar theme song sung by an asian Wayne Newton sounding guy. It's classic and you'll love waking up at 5 in the morning yelling "Jet Jaguar... JET JAGUAR!!!!!" over and over again. Oh, the memories! The big green guy (always fun to watch); the Apache Chief growing effect they use on Jet Jaguar; the two "buddies" with the necklace (don't ask, don't tell); the little kid almost annoying as Urkel; the song, it's just the best.
