Masters of the Universe

Rob and Alan

He-Man and pals come to life to save our universe from Skeletor and his evil minions.

No

Courtney Cox fans or serious He-Man aficionados might be into this one, but everyone else will probably want to stay away. Yeah, she of "Friends" and Cocoon: The Return is in it, but unfortunately with not much to work with. An individual episode of her "Misfits of Science" had better pacing and more excitement. The cast here is likable enough, Dolph Lundgren really looks like the 'Man, and the guy who plays Man O' War is all right, but it just didn't have a big enough budget to do anything that interesting. Also, true fans will probably miss the presence of Orco, not that anything could really bring any excitement to this movie. The best thing about it being made is that it will probably stave off any other one being done when He-Man makes an inevitable retro comeback.

Cox! (Just wanted to get a cheap giggle off of anyone with a sick mind); the S+M evil queen; the My Science Project dimensional portal; Skeletor's head (oohh, scary!)
